swFile.saveString

Usage:

swFile.saveString( file, string, append, callback, scope );

Parameters:
filepath [string] specifies the filepath for the output text file.

stringToSave [string] that should be saved to file.

append [boolean] this boolean indicates if the string to write should be appended to the file specified, or not. Set to true to append, set to false to (re)create the file specified.

callback: [method] that should be fired once saving the string to file is complete. The callback receives a boolean indicating if the save was successful. This parameter is optional, but required when specifying the 'scope' parameter.

scope [object, optional] that will be "this" in the callback method.

Returns:
Executes a callback function, see parameters for details.

Description:
Saves a string to a text file.

Example:

swFile.saveString( "C:\\text.txt", "I'll be stored in a file.", true );

The last argument indicates that we want the string to be appended to the 'text.txt' file. Please note that his argument is mandatory when also specifying a callback function! Set it to false to (re)create a file that only contains the string specified.

When saving a string to a text file with this function, all special character information will be truncated. To save a string containing special characters, use the swFile.saveUnicodeString method.
