Yo también soy novato en esto del Flash y por eso se q a veces necesitamos más q un empujoncito para lograr lo q queremos hacer, por eso acá te dejo el ejemplo de un scroll que tuve q hacer para el trabajo de un cliente por si te sirve a vos o a alguien mas.
Lo que hace este Mc es avanzar de a una línea o retroceder de a una línea si hacés clic en las flechas de los extremos, y avanza o retrocede de a una página (en mi caso una página son 17 líneas, eso dependerá de las dimensiones de cada MC) si hacés clic en las flchas interiores.
Desde ya que las imágenes de las flechas están convertidas en botones y cuando pasas el mouse sobre ellas cambia el texto del medio q por defecto dice SCROLL a "Avanza". "Retrocede", "Avanza Página" y "Retrocede Página" según en que flecha pongas el mouse.
Yo no sabía como hacer para que el texto dinámico quede vertical y la gente de este foro me ha ayudado
