bueno, aqui estoy devuelta
me tiró una bocha de errores la acutalización, en kubuntu.org dice que sólo hay que cambiar el souce.list de breezy a dapper, dejé toda la noche la compu bajando los paquetes necesarios y cuando llego y veo ya no tengo ni konkeror ni ¡¡konsole!! y muchas cosas más están rotas.

dejo una copia de mi source.list por si alguin quiere hecharle una mirada

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO,
Me voy a morir..... ahora no anda nada que tenga que ver con kde.... de pedo que me sigue andando está ventana de firefox porque no la cerré hasta ahora.

tengo miedo amigos, mucho miedo..... :'(

ni siquiera puedo entrar en la consola, apt-get no me levanta el archivo sources, nada nada nada.

me parece que voy a tener que reinstalar todo. solo que no entiendo que mierda hice mal, sólo cambié las entradas que decía breezy a dapper tal como indicaba kubuntu.org. no entiendo nada

Ahh mierda, REINICIEN malditos... LA actualización de Brezzy a Dapper requiere de reiniciar el equipo! Ciérrenlo todo y reinicien.

Si les da algún error al reiniciar, (Error como Kernel Panic, o parecidos) Vayan a un modo consola y vuelvan a actualizarse

Código :

$ su *******
$ aptitude update
$ aptitude dist-upgrade

Actualicen repositorios y vuelvan reinstalar dapper, puede solucionar algunos problemas!

Y ahora disfruten de un shutdown gráfico (juas, hace meses que lo tengo en beta)
Aunque con el cambio a 6.05 el inicio es más lento que en las primeras versiones...

Y otra cosa... No pidan posavasos, es decir, pidan los CD's que vayan a usar, ni más ni menos, no pidan porque sea gratis, si pueden actualicen desde Internet, piensen que todo dinero que no gasten en CD lo gastaran en hacer una mejor distro!!

La verdad es que nunca fui fanatico de ubuntu, siempre le fui fiel a slackware, sin embargo leo tantas cosas que el fin de semana me animé a instalar esta nueva version en mi maquina
Lo estoy usando y la verdad es que les ha quedado bien.

De paso he probado instalar Xgl y compiz y wow!!! el efecto 3D que se da en los escritorios y de más que genial.
Por si quieren probarlo, yo use este tutorial

yo segui esta que esta bastante buena, la de crysol la use en la versión beta, pero esta esta for dummies

asi que me gusto más.

ahhh tambien esta este enlace que explica para que sirve cada uno de los plugins del compiz, pero no inventen nada mas enterense de que va cada plugin, recuerden que todo lo demas que sale ahi es de GENTOO!!!
